"Patriotic, pro-Bangladesh, and religious students-masses must remain united in favour of sovereignty, reform, and the July uprising against fascism and hegemony. Patriotic military officers and soldiers must be ready to protect sovereignty and Bangladesh," said Nahid.

Nahid also demanded the announcement of the July Proclamation within the set timeline.

Stating that the election will be held within the declared time frame, the NCP convener said the July Charter outlining the fundamental reforms should be drafted prior to the election.

He further said that there must be visible justice for the July massacre before the election, and a roadmap for the trial must be announced.

Also, the elections to the Constituent Assembly and National Parliament must be held simultaneously for the sake of a new constitution, demanded Nahid.
