According to the regular weather bulletin, from 9 am on Tuesday (October 1), light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds will occur in most parts of Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and in many parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions during the next 24 hours. can

In the next three days, the water of these rivers in Sylhet division may rise, but may flow below the danger line, the bulletin said.


It has been said there that the water of Gomti and Halda rivers of Chittagong division is increasing. Feni, Matamuhuri river water is stable; On the other hand the waters of Sangu and Muhuri rivers are receding and flowing below the flood line.

Heavy rain is likely to occur in Chittagong division and its adjacent upstream for the next three days, as a result of which the water level of these rivers in Chittagong division may rise. But it will flow below the danger limit.

In the bulletin of the forecasting center, the water level of Bengali, Mahananda and Chota Yamuna rivers in Rajshahi division is increasing. On the other hand, the waters of Atrai and Karotaya rivers are stable and flowing below the flood line.

The water of these rivers of Rajshahi division may remain stable in the next 24 hours and the water may decrease in the next two days.

According to the Flood Forecasting Center, the Ganga River in that section is stable and the downstream Padma River is rising and flowing below the flood line. In the next 24 hours, the water level of Ganga River may remain stable, while the water level of Padma River may increase. For the next four days, the waters of both the Ganga-Padma rivers may rise, but may flow below the Vipatseema.
