District Police Additional Superintendent of Police Nazmus Shakib confirmed the matter. He said that the Rohingya accused escaped while being taken from the courtroom to the court cell. An operation is underway to arrest him.


Ukhiyar police station OC Mohammad Arif Hossain said that APBN arrested Mamun on Tuesday in the Rohingya camp weapons case. He was then handed over to Ukhia police station. Sent to the court from the police station on Wednesday. He was taken to court along with other accused.

Later, while being taken to the cell under police guard, he managed to escape.
