PTI has been holding regular protests in Pakistan in recent weeks demanding the release of Imran Khan. To prevent these gatherings, there have been incidents of section 144 being issued by the police. The opposition alleges that PTI is deteriorating public security and law and order situation.

Imran Khan has been urging activists and supporters to come down to the streets from prison. With his sharp criticism, the discomfort in the Pakistani government is increasing day by day.

In such an atmosphere, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif said that PTI's gatherings should be more strictly controlled. At the same time, jailed Imran Khan was asked to learn humility and refrain from making big comments.

According to Nawaz, the ruling party of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not interested in the development of the province. An anarchic situation is being created there.

He questioned and said, 'PTI has fulfilled any big promise. Their performance is zero and they just protest whenever they get a chance'.

Referring to the PTI protesters, Nawaz said, 'They come to Punjab with tear gas shells. I think such behavior should be dealt with severely'.

Nawaz alleged that he had an audio recording of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, which contained information to oust him and bring Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan to power.

Nawaz Sharif returned home in October last year after four years of voluntary exile in London. This three-time former prime minister of Pakistan could not complete his term despite coming to power in 1992, 1999 and 2017.
