Naval advisers call for investment in marine and offshore industries

He made this call while inaugurating the three-day international exhibition 'Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo- (BIMOX 2024)' at Kurile International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital on Thursday.

M Sakhawat said, Bangladesh is geographically a riverine country; One-third of our total population is connected to rivers and seas. It has abundant marine resources and a large labor force. Those who invest here will be successful.

The naval adviser said that the current government is very transparent in terms of work. Now all kinds of facilities are open. So I would say to local and foreign entrepreneurs, now is the time to invest in this sector. I will provide all kinds of support to those who come to invest here.


Organized for the sixth time, the exhibition highlights shipbuilding industry, maritime engineering, offshore engineering, and technology, ship recycling, ship-breaking equipment, fishing vessels, fishery and process automation, ports and various related logistics and technologies. The exhibition was organized by the private organization Saver International Limited.

In the event, it was informed that Saver International Limited has always been contributing to the country's economy by organizing international exhibitions aimed at creating a market for the export of Bangladeshi products. In this continuation, Saver is organizing this exhibition for the sixth time. Through this exhibition, a new door was opened for Bangladeshi and international entrepreneurs in the maritime and offshore industry.

In the exhibition, various companies from 15 countries are displaying their products in more than 180 stalls. A large number of visitors are watching the exhibition.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 7 to 9 November from 10 am to 7 pm.c
