Police recovered the body of a lawyer named Mostakim Islam (32) from Mulatol area of ​​Rangpur city. His body was recovered from his house in Bank Colony near Mulatol Chhota Pond on Friday (November 8) around 2:30 am.

The deceased Mostakim is the son of Khademul Islam of Tax Hat area of ​​Badarganj Upazila.

Neighbor Harun Or Rashid said that Mostakim Islam's village house is in the tax hut area of ​​Badarganj. A father and a brother live there. Younger brother and Mostakim live with his family in that house in Rangpur. 4 days ago Mostakim's wife Rimu visited Akhtar's father's house. They have no children.

Rimu's uncle Rashed Khan Dalim said that the ground floor of the two-storey building has been rented. And in one unit of the second floor, Mostakim and his wife live and in the other unit, younger brother Sohan lives with his wife. I came to the house around 12:30 pm and found Mostakim's body lying on the bed.

Mostakim's younger brother Sohan said that on Friday, he broke the door of his room and found his elder brother lying on the floor after getting no response. At that time, there was a curtain on the bed with a ceiling fan. Later the police was informed.

Abdur Rashid, Assistant Police Commissioner of Kotwali Zone of Rangpur Metropolitan Police, said that the body was recovered around 2:30 on Friday night and sent to the morgue for autopsy. The cause of death can be confirmed after receiving the post-mortem report.
