Jumbangla Desk: Four people were killed in a collision between a bus and a pickup in Tangail's Madhupur . The accident took place near Malauri Government Primary School of the upazila on the Jamalpur-Tangail regional highway at around 5:30 am on Tuesday (November 19). Their names were not immediately available.

It has been reported that a pick-up going to Madhupur collided with a Dhaka-bound Binimay Paribahan bus in front of Malauri Government Primary School in Madhupur Municipality early in the morning. The driver and helper of the pickup were killed on the spot. Later, two seriously injured people in the pickup were rescued and taken to Madhupur Hospital where they died.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Madhupur police station Russel Ahmed said that two cars involved in the accident have been recovered and kept in police custody. Legal action will be taken in this regard.
