The Chief Justice has ordered to ensure the overall security of all the courts of the country including the Supreme Court, judges' chambers and residences and lawyers. Syed Refat Ahmed.

According to the notification, the Chief Justice of Bangladesh is deeply concerned about the unprecedented and unexpected incidents that have recently taken place in the premises of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and at the same time the undesirable situations that have occurred in the district courts of the country including the premises of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
The notification also said that the Supreme Court of Bangladesh had previously instructed all concerned to take necessary steps to ensure the overall security of all court/tribunal premises, courthouses, judges' residences, judges' cars, judges and employees with the help of local law enforcement agencies. Judiciary is one of the three main organs of the state. To ensure the rule of law and justice and to maintain the image of the court, the Chief Justice of Bangladesh has directed all the relevant authorities of the country to take immediate necessary steps to ensure the overall security of every court/tribunal premises, courtrooms, residence of judges, judges and employees of the court.
All concerned have been instructed to take all necessary steps in this regard immediately in the notification.
