Cup qualifier match between Bangladesh
and Singapore. The Bangladesh national football team will take the field in this match to be held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on June 10. However, fans have faced obstacles on the first day of ticket sales.
Victim of cyber attack
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has confirmed that the ticket sales website 'Tikify' has been the victim of a cyber attack.
Although online ticket sales began on Saturday (May 24), many people faced problems buying tickets on the first day. BFF Media Manager Sadman Shakib said this information in a statement.
The notice said, "
Due to a cyber attack on the Tikify website, viewers are temporarily unable to purchase tickets. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused." BFF also assured that the new ticket sales schedule will be announced soon.
The excitement surrounding this match has not waned among Bangladeshi football fans. Especially with the inclusion of three expatriate stars—Hamza Chowdhury, Samit Som, and Fahamidul Islam—in the national team, the excitement surrounding the match has increased manifold.
The team, which was full
of confidence after drawing against India in March, is also hoping for a good result against Singapore. As part of the preparations, Bangladesh will play a friendly match against Bhutan on June 4. Tickets for that match can be purchased online through Tikify and directly from the booth, the federation said.
