Bangladesh announces squad for Test

series against Sri Lanka, excluding Ebadat

Bangladesh Cricket Board

(BCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka this month.

Meanwhile, pacer Ebadat Hossain has returned to the national team after a long break with this series. Nazmul Hossain Shanto will lead the team in this series to be held in Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will take on the field in the first Test in Galle on June 17. The second and final Test of the series will begin in Colombo on June 25.

The three-match ODI series will

then begin on July 2. The remaining two matches of the series will be played on July 5 and 8. The first two ODIs of the three-match series will be held in Colombo. The venue for the third and final ODI will be in Pallekele.

The T20 series will begin in Pallekele on June 10. The remaining two T20s will be held on July 13 and 16, in Dambulla and Colombo respectively.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto (captain), Sadman Islam, Enamul Haque Bijoy, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Zaker Ali Anik, Mehedi Hasan Miraj (vice-captain), Taijul Islam, Naeem Hasan, Hasan Murad, Ebadat Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Nahid Rana and Khaled Ahmed.
