If we all plant and care for at least one tree from our respective locations, it will be possible to build a livable world for future generations."

Noor E Khan said, "Today, June 5, is World Environment Day. The United Nations declared this day as Environment Day in 1972, and since then, people all over the world have been spreading the message of environmental conservation and awareness on this day."

This year's theme — “Our Land. Our Future.”

reminds us that the time is now in this fight for survival with nature. Land degradation, deforestation, climate change — all pose threats to our very existence.

Dear colleagues, protecting the environment is not just the government's responsibility. Planting trees, reducing plastic use, preventing wastage of electricity and water, and being aware of waste management - each of us can do these things from our own place.
