Brother-in-law murdered by sister-in-law
The tragic incident took place in the Hazraniya Sadarpara area of ​​​​Bhotmari Union of the upazila on Thursday (June 5) morning.

The deceased, Dulu Mia, is the son of Shawkat Ali of the area. The accused, Chandni (16), is an SSC examinee and the daughter of Mokchedur Rahman of the same area.

According to police and local sources,

Dulu Mia expressed suspicion after seeing his wife Moni Begum talking to someone on her mobile phone on Wednesday evening. A heated argument broke out between the husband and wife over deleting the number from the phone. At one point, the sister-in-law Chandni got angry and hit her brother-in-law on the neck with a pair of scissors.

Later, locals rescued him and first took him to Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex. Then he was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital, where he died on Thursday morning. Chandni fled immediately after the incident.
