Wednesday (June 4) was the last working
day for government officials and employees on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. On this occasion, yesterday was also the last working day for all media outlets in the country.
According to the decision of the country's newspaper owners' organization, NOAB, the Eid holiday for all media outlets in the country will
end on June 9, and according to
the government decision, the holiday for government officials and employees will end on June 14.
On the occasion of Eid, journalists will have five consecutive days off and government employees will have 10 consecutive days off.
On May 6, at a meeting of the Advisory Council at the Secretariat, it was decided by executive order to close government offices on June 11 and 12 (Wednesday and Thursday). It was also decided to keep offices open on the two Saturdays before Eid.
