New controversy over Ronaldo's

Cristiano Ronaldo has proposed to his longtime girlfriend

Georgina Rodriguez with a diamond ring.

The news was reported a week ago. However, this week, various analyses and speculations have been seen in the media about the ring given by Ronaldo. How many carats is the ring? How much is it worth? Is it made entirely of diamonds or has other metals been used as well? There was a debate about these.

A new controversy has suddenly arisen. It is being said that Ronaldo proposed to Georgina using the 'wrong ring'. The matter has now created a stir in the media.

Al Nasr's Portuguese star shared a photo of himself wearing the ring on Instagram, writing, "Yes, I agree. In this life and in all the lives to come." But a Spanish jeweler has claimed it is the wrong ring.

Juan Garcia Sanchez told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport: "The engagement ring has certain requirements that it did not meet. It is very large and heavy. It uses a stone of about 40 carats, which is more suitable for a necklace than for a ring. The ring is uncomfortable and restricts the movement of the finger. Only the setting is perfect, the rest is defective."

Sanchez further explains,

“This ring uses large, bright stones for special occasions or celebrations, which are not suitable for everyday wear. Engagement rings should generally be yellow or white gold. It should be comfortable and not restrict finger movement, as it is worn every day as a symbol of love and fidelity. This ring is essentially a ‘cocktail ring’, designed to be worn on special occasions. It is not meant to be worn every day as a symbol of love.”
