Jumbangla Desk: Religion advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said, the entire life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is ideal for us. If we can adopt his ideals, then we can build a society without discrimination and a state based on justice.

He said, if we can practice the ideals of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in personal, family, social and state life, then we can build a beautiful future.

The religious adviser said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion and prayer ceremony titled 'Equality and Harmony of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)' on the occasion of Miladunnabi (PBUH) on the occasion of the Holy Eid Miladunnabi (PBUH).

The event was organized by the National Press Club.

He said, Prophet Karim (PBUH) has left an example for us to follow. Quoting the hadith, he said, if a Muslim in a Muslim state tortures or oppresses a non-Muslim citizen, the Holy Prophet (SAW) will stand against that Muslim on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet (PBUH) has also given instructions on what should be the policy of a Muslim warrior towards women and children on the battlefield. Besides, Rasul (PBUH) also played a leading role in protecting the balance of the environment. Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) established human rights on earth 1400 years ago. He was the first to declare that there is no special status of non-Arabs over Arabs or Arabs over non-Arabs, blacks over whites or whites over blacks.

Dr. Khalid Hussain said, Prophet Karim (PBUH) is the bearer of good news for the whole world. He was the first in the history of human civilization to establish the rights and dignity of women. Before that, there was no status of women in the society, rather women were despised in various ways.

He said, if we want to build a communally harmonious country, then there is no other option but to follow the ideals of the Prophet (PBUH).

The religious adviser said that the current interim government is working to restore the law and order situation in the country. If some institutional reforms and economic conditions stabilize, an impartial election commission will be formed and national elections will be held. These elections will be fair, free and impartial and everyone will be able to exercise their right to vote. Our responsibility will end with the handover of power to the party that wins the majority through elections.

He requested everyone to cooperate with the government.

General Secretary Ayub Bhuiyan, former president Shawkat Mahmud, former general secretary Syed Abdal Ahmed, former president of BFUJ M Abdullah and former president of Dhaka Reporters Unity Mursalin Nomani among others spoke on the occasion under the chairmanship of National Press Club President Hasan Hafiz. Journalist leaders and members of the National Press Club participated in it.

At the end, prayers are offered for the happiness and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah and the well-being of the country and the nation.
