Jumbangla Desk: It has been decided to give 5 lakh rupees to each family of the martyrs killed in the mass uprising and a maximum of 1 lakh rupees to each injured person.

Chief adviser to the interim government on Wednesday. This decision was taken in the first meeting of the executive committee of July Shaheed Smriti Foundation chaired by Muhammad Yunus.

The meeting decided that the injured would be compensated as soon as possible and checks would be handed over to the families of the martyrs at a memorial function in the capital.

The committee led by the Chief Adviser appealed to people from all walks of life, expatriate Bangladeshis and organizations and businesses to donate to the foundation.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus told the meeting that even the smallest amount of donation should be recorded and the list of donors should be preserved. If possible, their names should be published on the foundation's website.

He said, this is an important milestone. We must work hard to make it successful.

Government advisors Sharmin Murshid, Nahid Islam and Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Foundation General Secretary Mir Mahabubur Rahman and Treasurer Kazi Waqar Ahmad were present in the meeting.
