A House Made of Love
We built a house of more than stone,
With laughter laid in every bone.
The walls are whispers, warm and true,
The roof, the sky I see with you.
No grand estate, no tower high,
But love beneath an open sky.
Each step we take, each room we fill,
Is proof of love that lingers still.
Our table holds our daily bread,
But also all the words unsaid.
Our bed is not just cloth and thread—
It’s where our dreams and hearts are wed.
The doors are never closed with pride,
We welcome truth to come inside.
And when the world feels cold or mean,
Our home becomes our warmest scene.
It’s not the walls that make it right,
It’s sharing sorrow, joy, and light.
This house of ours may one day age,
But never love on every page.
I’d rather live with you in shade
Than rule alone in gold well-laid.
For home is you—your breath, your touch,
And that, my love, is more than much.
