Love is a River
Love is a river flowing wide,
It carves its path, it does not hide.
Through valleys deep and over stone,
It makes its way, though oft alone.
It doesn’t stop when times are tough,
It finds its way through jagged rough.
It bends, it twists, it learns to yield,
But never leaves the love it sealed.
It starts with drops, with morning dew,
Then grows with time and all we do.
And when it swells from storm or flood,
It holds our weight and lifts our blood.
You are my stream, my endless flow,
The course of life where I will go.
And should we part or drift or stray,
This river always finds its way.
