সময় বলে থাকে। দ্বিতীয় অর্থ হল, এটা শুধু তাদের মুখের কথা; যা কাজে পরিণত হওয়ার নয়। অর্থাৎ, তাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে পুনর্বার পাঠিয়ে দেওয়া হলেও তাদের এ কথা কথাই থেকে যাবে; সৎকাজের সুমতি তাদের হবে না। যেমন, এক জায়গায় বলা হয়েছে " যদি তাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে পাঠিয়ে দেওয়া হয়, তাহলেও যা করতে তাদেরকে নিষেধ করা হয়েছিল তারা তাই করবে। " ( সূরা আনআম ৬:২৮ ) ক্বাতাদাহ ( রহঃ ) বলেন, কাফেরদের এই কামনায় আমাদের জন্য বড় শিক্ষা রয়েছে। কাফের নিজ বংশে ও গোত্রে ফিরে যাওয়ার কামনা করবে না। বরং পৃথিবীতে সৎকর্ম করার কামনা করবে। সেই জন্য জীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্তকে মূল্যবান মনে করে অধিকাধিক সৎকর্ম করা উচিত। যাতে কাল কিয়ামত দিবসে এ রকম কামনা করার প্রয়োজন না হয়। ( ইবনে কাসীর )
