অর্থ ও ব্যবহার:

পরী মানে আধ্যাত্মিক/অলৌকিক সত্তা, যাদের সৌন্দর্য, রহস্য আর জাদুকরী ক্ষমতার কথা বলা হয়।

কালো পরী বলতে বোঝায় হয়তো রহস্যময়, অন্ধকার, ভয়ংকর অথবা দুঃখের প্রতীকী কোনো পরী।

অনেক সময় গল্পে "কালো পরী" ব্যবহার করা হয় অশুভ শক্তি বা রহস্যময় অন্ধকার জগতের প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে।

আবার কবিতা বা প্রেমের গল্পে "কালো পরী" হতে পারে কারো গভীর কালো চোখের রূপক।

উদাহরণ:

কোনো গল্পে নায়কের শত্রু হতে পারে "কালো পরী", যে অন্ধকার শক্তির নিয়ন্ত্রক।

কবিতায় প্রেমিকার সৌন্দর্য বোঝাতে বলা যায়, “তোমার কালো চোখ যেন কালো পরী”।
