Daksu's former VP Sultan Mansoor is in DB custody for questioning

Jumbangla Desk: Former VP of Daksu Sultan Mohammad Mansoor Ahmed was arrested after returning home from Canada and landing at the airport. He was later taken into the custody of the Detective Police (DB) for questioning.
A team of DB Police took him for questioning when he landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Monday morning.
According to DB sources, Sultan Mansoor has been taken to DB for questioning based on specific information. He will be detained and not arrested, a decision will be taken after the questioning.
Sultan Mohammad Mansoor Ahmed became known for the leadership of the Chhatra League in the eighties. He was the VP of Dhaka University Students' Union as the sole president of Chhatra League in independent Bangladesh.
Although he is known as a politician of Awami League, currently Mohammad Mansoor is an active leader of the newly formed political alliance Jatiya Oikya Front.
In the 2018 11th National Parliament Election, Mansoor was elected as a Member of Parliament by winning 79 thousand 742 votes in the Moulvibazar-2 constituency with the symbol of rice grain on the nomination of Jatiya Oikya Front.
