Jumbangla Desk: After the remand in two separate murder cases, the former agriculture minister. Md. Abdur Razzak and former Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Lt. Col. (Retd.) Farooq Khan were denied bail by the court and sent to jail.

After the remand, Razzak was produced in the court in the case of murder of businessman Abdul Wadud. After that, the investigating officer of the case, Police Inspector Jahangir Arif of the Ramna Zonal Team of the DB Police requested to keep him in jail.
Besides, Farooq was produced in the court after remand in the murder case of BNP worker Maqbool. After that, the investigation officer of the case, Sub-Inspector of Paltan Police Station, Nazmul Hachan requested to keep him in jail. Later, their lawyer applied for bail. The state opposed bail.
After hearing both sides, the court denied bail and ordered to send him to jail. Later, an application was made to show arrests in two separate murder cases of Adabar and Newmarket police stations. At the end of the hearing, he was arrested.
Earlier on October 14, DB Police arrested Abdur Razzak from Iskaton area of the capital at around 8:30 pm.
Besides, RAB-1 arrested Farooq from Dhaka Cantonment area at 1:45 p.m. that day . The next day on October 15, the court granted their two-day remand.
