Once upon a time there lived a young man named Abdul in a small village. He was very talented, but his attitude was unstable. Mixing with other youths of the village, he turned to immoral activities. His behavior and actions caused turmoil to the family and society.
One day, Abdul went to meet an old man in the village. The old man was very wise and pious. Abdul brought his worries to him. The old man smiled and said, "Do you know how important it is to follow the path of truth and justice?"
Abdul shook his head and said, “I don't know, sir. I'm always on the wrong track." The old man said, “One who follows the path of Allah never loses. He sees and knows everything about us.”
Hearing the words of the old man, a light flashed in Abdul's mind. He felt that his life lacked a proper path. The old man told him, “Islam teaches us how to live by truth, justice and compassion. If something changes in your mind, life will also change.”
Abdul decided that he would follow the true teachings of Islam. First, he started praying. He started praying five times a day in front of Allah. At first he had to suffer a little, but gradually he began to feel peace in the prayer.
Now Abdul started to learn Quran. Every night he began to read the Qur'an for some time and tried to understand its meaning. He came to know that Islam is not just a religion, but a complete way of life. Thus, he learned more about the morality, kindness and humanity of Islam.
Abdul's change was noticed by others. The youth of the village looked up to him, they noticed the change in his lifestyle. Some young people started talking to him and were inspired to change their lives too.
One day, there was a big ceremony in Abdul's village. Many speakers came there and discussed various aspects of Islam. Abdul was also present there. One of the speakers said, “Islam teaches us how to show kindness and compassion to one another. These qualities unite our society and convey the message of peace.”
Abdul felt that this message of Islam was not only theoretical but applicable in real life. At the end of the program, she thought about how she could share her changed life with others.
Abdul decided to create a club where young people would come together to discuss the teachings of Islam and exchange ideas on how they could apply it in their lives. He started creating interest in Islam among the youth of the village.
Within a few days, many youngsters joined his club. They began to converse with each other, discussing the Qur'an and Hadith. Abdul shared with them how he changed his life in the light of Islam.
One day, a young man in the club asked, "Abdul, how did you change so much?" Abdul said, “I realized that if we want to have true peace and happiness in our lives, we must follow the path of Allah. Islam shows us that way.”
The young people of the club were inspired by Abdul's words. They all decided, together, they would follow the teachings of Islam and promote compassion, cooperation and love among themselves.
Thus, Abdul's life-changing process became an inspirational story not only for him, but for the entire village. Abdul's goodwill and teachings of Islam gave him a new life. He is no longer a restless youth, but an enlightened person, guided in the path of truth.
The people of the village saw Abdul's change and began to accept the morals and teachings of Islam more and more. They realized that the main purpose of religion is to establish peace and prosperity. Under the leadership of Abdul, they started working together for the development of the society.
Ultimately, Abdul's life story became an inspiration not only to himself, but to an entire community. It is possible to find the truth in the teachings of Islam, if we decide to walk on the right path.
Like Abdul, we all can make a difference in our lives if we follow the path of Allah with faith and perseverance. The path of Islam will help us lead a beautiful life, where truth, justice and humanity are upheld.
