If you could go back to the world 450 million years ago by riding a time machine, you would be surprised to see the sky, there is no moon! Then the solar system and the earth were newly created. Recent means only 100 million years have passed since the creation of the earth.

Our world has not cooled yet. Its heat is intense, you will see molten lava if you look around. A group of asteroids are falling from space every now and then. Wounding the world. A lonely world is on fire, literally.

Such a hypothesis can most successfully explain the origin of the Moon. Explanations can be found from this projection about the current position of the moon, its possible future and many other things. And this Anukalpa tells us the story of a cosmic collision, in which the earth is torn apart, but finds a faithful friend like the moon.

Since the dawn of civilization, humans have been intensely curious about the moon. But in the absence of real scientific knowledge, this curiosity took over the imagination. Some civilizations have considered the moon to be a goddess, some have considered it a celestial object. We also have the legend of old lady of the moon in Bangladesh.

But in 455 BC, the Greek philosopher Anaxagoras first suggested that the moon was probably made of rock. He was born by breaking a part of the world. He even said that the moon has no light of its own, it shines by reflecting the light of the sun. But people did not listen to him then. The words of Anaxogoras, who was far ahead of the age, are therefore lost in the history of time.

But even when lost, he did not lose. After 2,300 years, it came back again in the 19th century. British astronomer George Darwin said in 1879 that the earth is rotating at a great speed. Due to this very fast rotation, a part of the Earth breaks off, starts spinning around the Earth. The rotating rock eventually became the moon. Its name is 'Fission Anukalpa'. Austrian geologist Otto Ampferer took it a bit further.

In 1925, he said that the movement of the continental plates is due to the birth of the moon. Not only that, he showed the Pacific Ocean as proof of this plan. That is, the moon was born after this part was broken and separated. After a few days, it became known that this plan is not correct. Because, the Pacific Ocean was born about 20 million years ago. Geologists came to this conclusion by examining the ocean floor, carbon dating it. But the moon was born much earlier.

Scientists talk about several other such hypotheses. As scientist Thomas Jefferson Jackson in 1909 spoke of the 'occupation hypothesis' of the moon. This hypothesis states that an object such as an asteroid is caught in the gravitational pull of Earth as it passes by. This later became the moon. Satellites of some planets of the solar system are formed in this way. Again called 'accretion hypothesis', the earth and the moon were born at the same time during the creation of the earth, i.e. about 450 billion years ago.

These speculations came to an end in 1969 after the man's landing on the moon. Astronauts brought 382 kg of Seber moon rock to Earth. Examining these rocks shows that although there are some differences, there are many similarities between the rocks of the moon and the earth's crust. Through this, the 'occupation plan' of the moon was cancelled. Because, the structure of other asteroids that fall on earth is not so similar to that of earth.

Moon rocks are so burnt that they don't have the ability to evaporate like Earth rocks. Besides, the materials were once molten far below the Moon's crust. The amount of energy required for this is not possible due to accretion.

Another new hypothesis was developed by British geochemist Alex Norman Halide. Scientists now accept this as the most acceptable hypothesis. It's called the Giant Impact Hypothesis. In Bengali, it is said to be a big hit. As the days go by, it is being tested again and again with the help of advanced technology. And the evidence in its favor is proving stronger every time.

About 10 million years after the creation of the solar system and the earth. Most of the Earth was then hot molten lava. Plagued by various types of asteroids, the disintegration occurs again and again. Just then, a proto-planet (not a planet, but a planet-like object) named Theia rushes in at great speed. Angles hit the earth terribly.

According to scientists, the size of this planet was similar to Mars. What could cause such a massive injury? Yes, you guessed it—disaster. Due to the impact of this monstrous collision, the earth tilted at a 45 degree angle! This shock or shock wave spread across the world. A part of thea breaks up and mixes with the molten part of the earth. Another large part fell into space. At the point of collision, the temperature rises to more than five thousand degrees.

In this intense heat, the stone vaporized and spread around the earth. The rings of the earth are formed. Although the ring was not as massive as Saturn's, it was much hotter. The stone fragments of the ring were shining. And due to this monstrous impact, the rotation of the earth in its orbit increases. Every five hours it begins to spin around its axis. Yes, you guessed it right, it was only five hours in the world that was moving around the forest!

And those that were beyond 10 thousand kilometers, after gradually cooling down, the moon was formed together by the action of gravity force. According to scientists, the moon was formed about 20 thousand kilometers from the earth. And this happened within roughly 100 years of that great and terrible conflict. Then the moon gradually began to move further away from the earth. It is currently moving away from Earth at a rate of 4 cm per year.

There is a lot of evidence in favor of this hypothesis. As analysis of rocks from the Moon has shown, the isotopes of various substances on the Moon and Earth are not as similar as they were thought to be. Oxygen isotopes deep in the Moon are very different from oxygen isotopes on Earth.

Again, the amount of heavy chlorine in the moon is much higher than that of the earth. Apart from that, the current tilt of the earth at an angle of 23.5 degrees is also a result of that impact. From 45 degrees, the earth gradually straightened to its present position. Its rotation speed has also decreased gradually. Day length has increased to about 24 hours.

Computer simulations have also shown that if a planet equal to Mars comes and hits the Earth at an angle, only the Earth and the Moon can reach their current position in the last 450 million years. All this points to the plan.

Without the moon, the direction of the earth's axis would not be so stable, it would fluctuate unsteadily. Because of this, the balance of the seasons would have been lost, the climate would have been disturbed. That world might not even be suitable for life. Apart from that, the length of the day used to be five to six hours.
