Shakib Al Hasan pro-against protests in Mirpur. There has been an attack on the protest of Shakib fans. On Sunday (October 20), when they tried to protest in the Mirpur Stadium area, Shakib's opponents attacked them.

Shakib wanted to leave the country in white with the South Africa Test series starting on Monday (October 21). However, BCB discouraged this former Awami League member of Parliament from coming to the country on the advice of Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud to avoid any untoward situation.

Earlier, however, Shakib's detractors had been opposing his participation in the game on home soil. However, after Shakib decided not to return to the country, a group of people claimed to be Shakib fans and demanded that their favorite player be allowed to return to the country to play.

The tension between these two sides was palpable for a few days. Sunday which has been finalised. Around 100 people gathered in front of Mirpur Stadium from noon and continued to march for a long time and tried to go towards gate number two. But the police stopped them.

Being interrupted, they tried to hold a press conference. But in the meantime, some local people came and chased Shakib fans and beat them up. Later, when the police chased them, they dispersed.
