Sports Desk: The captain of the Bangladesh team Nigar Sultana Jyoti got the best eleven place in the Women's T20 World Cup. He got this recognition by spreading light with bat and gloves. In other words, Jyoti has been selected as the best eleven wicketkeeper.
Bangladesh had a great start in the recently concluded World Cup. Jyoti's team defeated Scotland in the opening match. 12 years ago, the women of Bangladesh won the T20 World Cup for the first time. After that Jyotira could not fight in the remaining three matches.
Bangladesh exited from the group stage after losing to England, West Indies and South Africa. Despite the poor performance of the team, Jyoti fought alone.
Jyoti scored 104 runs in four matches in the World Cup. He took a catch behind the wicket. In addition, 6 batters were stopped. No other wicket-keeper has done more dismissals than Jyoti in this tournament.
