Jumbangla Desk: The High Court has quashed four cases filed against BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman in capital's Kafrul police station in 2007 on charges of extortion.

The High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain passed the order on Wednesday.
The High Court issued this order declaring the rule issued in this regard appropriate.
Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Barrister Sanjid Siddiqui heard in court on behalf of Tariq Rahman.
Jamaat's review to return caretaker government system
Lawyers said that these cases were filed against Tariq Rahman during the caretaker government in 2007.
