Champions League T20 was once organized with the champion teams of the franchise tournament of different countries of the world. In course of time this tournament was closed. But this time West Indies Cricket is bringing a new tournament called Global Super League with five franchise teams. Where Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Rangpur Riders will also participate.
Shakib
Shakib Al Hasan will play for Rangpur Riders in this tournament. Shakib has not been able to come to the country recently due to security issues. However, since this event is outside the country, there is no obstacle for Shakib to play.
Their match schedule has already been announced. The tournament will be screened on November 26. Then on the second day (November 27) Rangpur is entering the field. England's Hampshire Hawks will be the opponent of the representatives of Bangladesh in the first match. Hampshire is one of the most successful T20 Blast teams in England.
Apart from Rangpur and the English team, the host Caribbean team Guyana Amazon Warriors, Pakistan Super League (PSL) Lahore Qalandars, Australian domestic cricket regular Victorian Cricket Team will participate in the tournament.
Each team will face each other once in the first round of the Global Super League. In their second match, Rangpur will face Victoria on December 1. Apart from this, Guyana on December 4 and Rangpur on December 5 are Lahore's opponents. All the matches of the Glober Super League, which is planned to start by the government of Guyana, will be played at the Guyana Providence Stadium. Out of five teams, four teams will go to the semi-finals. Then the final of the tournament will be held on December 7. The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of $1 million.
