Soon after the formation of the new government, India's Jammu and Kashmir became hot again due to the alleged terrorist attacks. There have been seven attacks in the region in the last 20 days. Why increased this attack?

Last Monday, three alleged terrorists opened fire on an army ambulance near the Line of Control in Akhnoor, Jammu and Kashmir. They opened fire in Baltal area and entered a nearby forest. Then the army operation started there. One attacker was killed on Monday. Then two people died on Tuesday morning.

Last week, miscreants fired at army vehicles in Gulmarg. Two army men and two cargo carriers were injured. They later died in the hospital. Hours before this attack, an out-of-state laborer was shot dead in Tral, Pulwama. The worker was seriously injured.

A few days earlier, six workers from outside the state and a Kashmiri doctor were gunned down by gunmen at the site of a road construction company near an under-construction tunnel in Sonmarg.

Besides, a laborer from Bihar was shot dead in Shopian on October 18. There were 12 bullets in his body. His body fell in a field.

On October 9, two army personnel were abducted. One managed to escape. The bullet-riddled body of another was later recovered.

Meanwhile, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah became the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir after the recently concluded assembly elections. After he was sworn in as Chief Minister, several attacks took place. He has been widely criticized for running the election with the support of the ruling extremist Hindutva BJP in central India.

Omar Abdullah said that he is worried about the recent increase in attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He condemned the attack in the strongest possible terms.

After the Gulmarg attack, the Congress blamed the failed policies of the NDA. The Congress has alleged that the NDA government at the Center has failed to provide security in Jammu and Kashmir. They should immediately take responsibility and provide security to army, security forces and common people.

In an interview with news agency ANI, former DIG Jammu and Kashmir SP Baid said that the ISI started its infiltration from Rajouri Poonch. Some penetrate people. Among them are Pakistani army men. There are SSG commandos, who are very skilled in jungle fighting.

DW's AB Rauf Ghani agrees with the former DIG. According to Rauf, those who died at the hands of the army and security forces were all foreigners. So penetration seems to have increased. We do not have any data on increased penetration. But now the terrorists who are active are not local people. Rather, they are believed to have come from Pakistan. So there is talk of increasing penetration.

Veteran journalist Sharad Gupta told German news outlet Deutsche Welle that no matter how bad Pakistan's domestic situation is, there has been no change in its Kashmir policy. Rather they have increased 'terrorist' activities by infiltrating more and more into Kashmir.

According to him, Pakistan has been trying this for a long time. In the middle they tried to do this work with local people. Now again they are doing this by infiltrating terrorists. Perhaps Pakistan also wants to divert the attention of the people of the country from their domestic affairs. And they have been trying to trouble India by creating unrest in Kashmir for a long time.

Deutsche Welle Urdu journalist Salahuddin Jain said that the terrorists want to show that the Kashmir issue is not yet resolved. The Lok Sabha and Assembly elections have been done properly, but the problem remains.

Incidentally, India and Pakistan have been claiming Kashmir as their territory. There is tension between the two neighboring countries, there are complaints and counter-complaints. On the other hand, Kashmiris have been fighting for their independence for a long time. Pakistan has been recognizing and supporting them as freedom seekers.

The central government of India has blockaded Kashmir by deploying millions of troops, police and other forces. For this reason, Kashmir is called as the open prison of the world.
