Black holes are one of the most mysterious objects in the universe. Now scientists have discovered a system of three black holes together. This discovery adds a new chapter to the study of the structure of the universe and the movement of black holes.
A research paper on the system of these three black holes was published in the famous journal Nature on October 23 . The system is named V404. It is about nine times larger than the Sun and about 8,000 light-years away from Earth in the Milky Way.
When V404 was first discovered in 1992, it was thought to be a black hole. This is when a star becomes known for swallowing. Later another black hole was found in this system. With the new discovery, scientists now see the system as an integrated system of three black holes.
