Hafeez Muaz Mahmud brought glory to Bangladesh in the International Hifzul Quran Competition. Muaz Mahmud won the first place by participating in the 9th International Hifzul Quran Competition held in Turkey. The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented him with the award and honorary crest in a colorful ceremony. The nationalist student party congratulated him.

Besides, Bangladesh won the first place among 123 countries in the 44th International Hifzul Quran Competition in Makkah on August 21 this year. At that time Hafez Muaz won 1st place in 15 Para group. This is how the Bangladeshi Hafeez has repeatedly made the name of Bangladesh shine in the global arena. Muaz is a student of Markaju Faizil Quran Al Islami, Kitab Department, Dhaka, Mirpur-1, Dhaka. He became Hafez from this madrasa and is now studying in the book department.
