Jumbangla Desk: Attacks, vandalism of houses and party offices and clashes between two groups of BNP centered on the inauguration of BNP's party office in Hasimpur-Miar market of Kachua.

The attack and beating happened between two groups of activists supported by Ehchanul Haque Milan and Mosharraf Hossain on Saturday evening.

The injured in the attack are Kamal Hossain, office secretary of Gohat North Union Juba Dal (supported by Musharraf), Juba Dal leader Hasanat and Chhatra Dal leader Jewel and (Milan supported) Chhatra Dal leader Mehraj Hossain Miraj, Jabed, Kaushar Hossain, Juba Dal leader Atiqur Rahman Babul, Hussain Zakir, Mostafa , Helal Uddin Khokon, Shahjalal, Abdur Rahman Nantu, volunteer leader Ershadul Haque Esu and Sramik Dal leader Abu Yusuf.

The injured are currently undergoing treatment at various clinics including Kachua Upazila Health Complex. Chhatra Dal leaders Mehraj Hossain Miraj, Javed Hossain and Union Juba Dal president Atiqur Rahman Babul are in critical condition among the injured. They are undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical and Comilla Hospitals.
