Science and Technology Desk: Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform 'OpenAI' has again brought specialty to its platform. Real time web search service for paid users is being launched on Chat GPT platform, the company said in a statement. So, in response to any question of the customer, the chatbot will search the internet directly and find the latest and most up-to-date information. Until now, OpenAI chatbots could answer customer queries based on information from machine learning algorithms.
Chat GPT claims that the service is currently being offered using the Microsoft Binge engine. Agreements with reputed organizations like News Corp, Reuters and Associated Press are being contemplated in the coming days to improve the quality of information and increase the knowledge-base. Experts claim that OpenAI is going to challenge conventional search engines like Google in the coming days when it is fully launched. Keeping this in mind, Google has already started providing AI-generated results in their search engine.
Enter a question in the Chat GPT message bar. If Chat GPT thinks it needs real-time information to answer your question, it will automatically activate an AI web search. You can also do it manually. For this, you have to go to the chat input and click on the web search icon. At the same time, you can also know about the source of Chat GPT answers. The web search results that GPT will present to you will also show you its source. You can see it by clicking on the 'Sources' button. If you click on those links, you can read the detailed text about your question.
