Jumbangla Desk: RAB has arrested two people including the personal assistant (PS) of former Youth and Sports Minister Nazmul Hasan Papon. They have been arrested on charges of attacking students in the anti-discrimination movement. The arrested are Papon PS Sakhawat Molla (52) and A. Hakim Raihan (52).

RAB's Legal and Media Wing Director Lieutenant Colonel Munim Ferdous confirmed this information on Sunday morning.
He said that on July 19, anti-discrimination students and masses took out a mass rally in Lakshipur and Kamalpur areas of Bhairab police station in Kishoreganj. The miscreants attacked the protesting students in the mass march. Several people were injured.
Mamun Mia (31), Rubel Mia (32) and Alam Sarkar (42) filed three separate cases at Bhairab police station in this incident.
After the case was filed, the accused were absconding to avoid arrest. RAB-14 started a shadow investigation to arrest them and started quick action to bring the accused involved in the incident to justice.

On Saturday, raids were conducted in the capital's Dhanmondi area and the personal PS accused Sakhawat Molla (52) of the former member of parliament of Kishoreganj-6 seat and another accused in the case A. Hakim Raihan (52) was arrested. RAB's operation to arrest other accused involved in this case is continuing.
