Jumbangla Desk: Seven students fell ill after eating food on the occasion of their girlfriend's birthday in Rajbari. Among them, two have been sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital. And the rest have been admitted to Rajbari Sadar Hospital. This incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
The students admitted to the hospital are Trisha, Antara, Hiya, Preeti, Surbhi, Akhi and Rafia. They are all students of the sixth standard of Damukdia Durgapur Abdul Aziz High School in Kalukhali.
It is known that after tiffin in the afternoon, 13 students of the school went to their home on the occasion of Snigdha's birthday. Later there they eat hilsa-khichuri and cakes and chocolates bought from Uttam Sahar shop in Gandhimara Bazar. Then they got sick one by one after coming to school.
Sick students said, eat hilsa-khichuri on the occasion of girlfriend's birthday. Then, as there was no arrangement for cutting the cake on the birthday, the Gandhis bought a cake and chocolate beans worth 5 taka from a shop in the market. At that time, after seeing that some packets of chocolate beans had no expiration date, they were replaced and eaten. After that some of them started having headache and stomach ache.
The student's father Jahangir said, since no one got sick after eating food from that house, it is assumed that they got sick after eating food from the shop. Because the store had expired and low quality food.
Damukdia Durgapur Abdul Aziz High School social science teacher Rehana Parveen said, after tiffin, I went to the class and saw that there were no girls. On asking some people, they said that they had gone to their house on the occasion of Snigdha's birthday. Later, after coming to school, he suddenly fell ill. The girls had a meal at their relatives' house and bought cakes from the store. Now I can't say why this situation happened. Five students of the school are enrolled in Rajbari and two in Faridpur.
Rajbari Sadar Hospital emergency department doctor Faria said that two students have been sent to Faridupar for better treatment. There are five people admitted in Rajbari.
