The international organization Oxfam Bangladesh is providing research opportunities through fellowships to Bangladeshi researchers and students. Recently announced Fellowships for Disaster Resilience Research. Interested candidates will get opportunity to apply till 11 November 2024.

Fellowship in subjects

Food Security/Agriculture, Water Resource Management, Natural Resource Conservation, Vernacular Architectural Practices for Disaster Resilience.

The top five fellows will be awarded grants to carry out their own projects (including all research costs). Apart from this, the organization will promote the selected research articles on regional and global platforms

Eligibility of Application

1. Geography, Disaster Management, Sociology, Anthropology, Journalism, Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, Gender Studies or any other relevant subject.

2. Must have previous experience working with underprivileged and disaster affected people.

3. Must

 be proficient in writing and presenting research proposals and reports.Necessary documents

Applicant's full CV, a motivational letter, a proposal of maximum 1500 words. Besides, the proposal will select a topic based on the Terms of Reference and will include a problem statement, solution, implementation plan and budget on that topic.
