Drafting of the new constitution and Dr. Revolutionary Student Council has demanded the army's cooperation in reconstituting the interim government with Yunus as president.

The organization declared the next five years as a national juncture. Yunus and Army Chief General Waqar Uzzaman have also proposed the formation of a National Security Council. It is said to involve the Chief Justice, military-civil officers, citizens and politicians.

These proposals were presented in a discussion meeting organized on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day at RC Majumdar Auditorium of Dhaka University on Thursday.

Former professor of Dhaka University as the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of Abdul Wahed, the convener of the Revolutionary Students' Council and moderated by member secretary Fazlur Rahman. In the program, the six-point proposal for the reconstruction of the state in the unity of the soldiers and the people calls for the army to be involved in the power structure in the reconstruction of the state.

Dr. canceled the current constitution of the army in the first phase. It was asked to provide all assistance and security to the formation of a presidential interim government headed by Yunus.

In the second phase, a strong national security council is called to be formed, whose chairman is the president of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus and the Vice Chairman will be Army Chief General Waqar Uz Zaman. The council will include Chief Justice, Cabinet Secretary, Chief of Naval and Air Force, Chief of Police, important politicians and citizens. In light of the National Security Council's decision to repeal the old constitution and ban fascist parties and organizations.

In the third phase of drafting the new constitution, it is proposed to quickly form the Constituent Assembly and conduct elections, and then to oversee the transfer of power to the elected government after the parliamentary elections.

In the fourth phase, it is mentioned that the security of the country's financial sector, including banks, stock exchanges, import and export transactions will be monitored and supervised by the military.

In the fifth phase, it has been called to take measures to respond immediately to issues related to public security, including communal and militant attacks, by permanently deploying the army to all the upazilas of the country. In this case, the army has been advised to take the help of police, RAB and BGB.

In the sixth phase, it is proposed to identify the friends of fascism, corrupt and anti-national in the army, public administration, and appoint former patriotic military and civil officers to their vacant posts.

Chief guest Dr. Aminur Rahman Majumdar said that after the war of liberation when people could not eat, the people of the Sheikh family gave gold crowns on their heads. In view of all this, the counter-revolution and its continuation came on November 7.

He strongly criticized the fascist party Awami League and said that an adviser said that Awami League is a traditional party. The blood stain has not dried but he is saying these things. A few others have said these things. The souls of the martyrs will not find peace in this. No one listens to the sick, the crippled, they sit and talk about all these things.

The former convenor of the teachers of Dhaka University advised the students to be active as a pressure group while maintaining the unity of the students. Otherwise, he warns, evil forces will rear their head again.

Brigadier General Dr. Abdullah Al Yusuf (Retd.) said, Bangladesh's dependent mentality should be removed. To eliminate Indian supremacy, all forces, including the army, must be reformed.

He said, the mentality of giving concession to dictatorship in a big party should be abandoned. The party will have to wait to reform the country before the elections. Why are they not focusing on reforming themselves? Do they want to destabilize the country in the previous style of dictatorship?

Lt. Colonel SM Ayub (retd) said that neither Aziz nor Shafiu represents the military. There is freedom and patriotism in the army. Our hands and feet were tied under strict surveillance. However, given the opportunity, we expressed that patriotism in the July revolution.

National Revolutionary Council convener Hasan Arif said that the defense and other forces should be properly used for state work. To protect the integrity of the country, the army will forget the party differences and work in the interest of the country.
