It is known that Uma Dasgupta breathed her last at a private hospital in Kolkata on Monday (November 18) around 8:30 am.
Confirming the news of the actress' death, actor Chiranjit Chakraborty said, 'I met Uma's daughter in the morning. At that time he said that Umadi had left. He had cancer a few years ago.'
It is known that Uma was recovering from cancer treatment. But suddenly this disease returned to his body again and he fell ill. He was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. This actress died there.
