According to the order of the President, the Senior Secretary of the Public Security Department (Police-1 Branch) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. They were reinstated in a separate notification signed by Mohammad Abdul Momen.

According to the notification, according to the judgment of Administrative Tribunal-1 case number 33/2017 on September 3, former Additional IGP (current duty) Sheikh Md. Sajjat ​​Ali was deemed reinstated in service with effect from September 3, 2016. He shall be entitled to all due salaries and pensions as ordered by the court. This order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.


In a separate order, it is mentioned in the same way, according to the judgment of Administrative Tribunal-1 case number 106/2022 (new) 247/2021 (old) dated 22 September, former Additional DIG Md. Mahbub Alam was deemed reinstated to service ex post facto from February 2, 2021.

He shall be entitled to all due salaries and pensions as ordered by the court.

It is to be noted that former Additional Inspector General of Police Sheikh Sajjat ​​Ali is one of the members of the 'Police Reform Commission' formed by the interim government to build a public-oriented, accountable, efficient and impartial police force headed by former Secretary Safar Raj Hossain.
