Jumbangla Desk: Dr. Jatrabari of the capital. The college authorities claimed that three people were killed in the attack and vandalism and clashes with students at Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College. It is also reported that hundreds of students including teachers were injured in this incident. Besides, the college authorities have sought the intervention of the administration to demand justice for this attack and looting.

This information has been informed in a press release signed by Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College Managing Director at around 2.30 pm today Monday.

It is said in the notice, 'Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College informs with deep grief and anger that a brutal attack has been carried out on our educational institution today. A group of foreign terrorists entered under the banner of the so-called seven college students and wreaked havoc. Three students brutally lost their lives in this attack and hundreds of students and teachers were injured. Many of the injured are in critical condition, some of whom are being treated under close observation.'

It said, 'In this attack, some named students of Shaheed Suhrawardy College and National Medical College were involved in a conspiracy to destabilize the educational institution with the help of the banned organization Chhatra League. Most of the attackers are not students, but individuals involved in terrorist activities. Attackers looted our important documents, resources and personal belongings of students. Apart from this, they damaged the college building and vandalized various rooms including the principal's office.

The notification also said, 'Although the college authorities have repeatedly requested the cooperation of the administration at the local and highest level, no effective action has been taken so far. In this situation, the safety and learning environment of our students has been disrupted.

Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College authorities have raised three demands in the notification. The demands are-

1. Expeditious identification and arrest of the real perpetrators of the attacks and exemplary punishment.

2. Security has been beefed up in the college immediately to ensure the safety of the students.

3. Taking effective steps to recover looted assets and recover damaged documents.
