'I accepted Islam in the hope of salvation in the hereafter'

On Friday, Parul Das (45) and his son Bimal Das (28) left Hinduism and converted to Islam after reciting Kalema to Imam Mufti Imran Bin Ilyas of Central Jame Masjid in Hasail Banari Union of Upazila.

Currently, the names of the two have been changed to Maryam Begum of the mother and Abdullah of the son. Maryam Begum said, after listening to Islamic scholars, I understand that Islam is the only religion of peace in the world. So I accepted Islam in search of salvation in the afterlife.
