- As far as management goes, we till the bed pack twice a day when the cows are up at the parlor. We add fresh sawdust with a bedding shooter bucket on the skid loader every morning after the pack has been tilled," she said. "Our mature cow milking group gets kiln-dried sawdust twice a day in order to keep them dryer since they are bigger and produce plenty of manure."
