Student Movement and BNP on
Saturday midnight in connection with the attack and vandalism at the residence of Jatiya Party (JPA) Chairman GM Quader. Upon receiving the news, NCP leader Sarjis Alam rushed there. He spoke to Brigadier General Humayun Qayyum, commander of the army's 72nd Infantry Brigade.

At that time, Brigadier General Humayun Qayyum told Sarjis Alam, "As long as there is blood in the body, we are not going to promote anyone who acts against the country. For now, the standing is that whoever causes inconvenience to the people, commits vandalism, sets fire in the name of a mob, or breaks into houses, this party should be given a message that no, there is no opportunity to do this now."
Jatiya Party (JPA) Chairman GM Quader's residence at 'The Sky View' in Senpara, Rangpur was attacked at around 8:45 pm on Thursday. The attack was carried out by a student movement march against discrimination. Vandalism and arson were also reported. GM Quader was at home at the time of the incident.
In this incident, Brigadier General Humayun Qayyum, commander of the army's 72nd Infantry Brigade, interrogated Imran Ahmed and Imtiaz Ahmed Imti, conveners of the district and metropolitan committees of the Student Movement Against Discrimination, at the city's Payra Chattar intersection around 12:30 am on Saturday.

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer (northern region) of the National Citizens Party (NCP), rushed there amidst the rain. Later, they left around 2 am. At that time, the army also questioned local BNP leaders.
After talking to the army, Sarjis Alam told reporters, "Anyone from the anti-discrimination student movement, BNP, Jamaat, NCP can be questioned for the investigation. Of course, it is necessary. We think that 1 am, 2 am, that time is the most visible. We expect them to be called at any time during the day during office hours. Everyone will be ready to cooperate in this matter."
