Primary school teachers to go on full

Assistant teachers of all government primary schools across the country

will go on a full-day strike from tomorrow,

Monday (May 26) to demand three points, including salary in grade 11. They have given this program at the call of the 'Primary Assistant Teachers Organization Oikya Parishad'.

Unity Council leader Mohammad Shamsuddin Masud confirmed this information to the media on Sunday (May 25) afternoon.


He said, "We observed a one-hour strike every working day from May 5 to 15. We are observing a two-hour strike from May 17. We are observing a half-day strike from May 21. This time, as previously announced, a full-day strike will be held from Monday."


Primary school teachers have recently

held several rallies in Dhaka demanding the implementation of the 10th grade for assistant teachers in government primary schools. However, the consultation committee formed by the interim government has recommended implementing the 12th grade as an entry level for the assistant teacher post. However, they are now protesting demanding the implementation of the 11th grade by reforming it.
