They have demanded full festival allowance, house rent and medical allowance before the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. They have announced a long march towards the secretariat on May 21 (Wednesday) at 12 noon if their demands are not met.
Sheikh Kawsar Ahmed,

He said, "The sit-in program will continue continuously until our demands are met . On May 21 at 12 noon, teachers and employees will march towards the secretariat to achieve their demands."
Teachers from different parts
of the country have been protesting against their long-standing deprivation. A teacher named Al Amin expressed his anger and said, "We do not want any percentage in the name of festival allowance. This disparity should be eliminated before the next Eid-ul-Azha and 100 percent festival allowance should be declared like that of government teachers and employees . Along with this, fair house rent and full medical allowance should also be provided."
