12 districts in danger of thunderstorms

The Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms

with gusty winds of up to 60 kilometers

per hour over 12 districts of the country by noon. River ports in these areas have also been asked to display warning signal number 1.

This information has been provided in the weather forecast for the country's inland river ports from 5 am to 1 pm on Wednesday (June 4).

The bulletin signed by meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque said that rain or thunderstorm accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour from the west or northwest may occur over various areas of Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mymensingh and Sylhet.
