He also said that the common people of Bangladesh and all political parties of the simultaneous movement, including the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), want elections by next December. Announce the election roadmap immediately.

He made these remarks while distributing cooked food among the needy and helpless people on the occasion of the 44th martyrdom anniversary of martyred President Ziaur Rahman (Bir Uttam) at several places including Pallabi Thana Jubo Dal at Mirpur-11 bus stand, Rupnagar Ward 92 BNP in Doaripara and Rupnagar Thana Volunteers in T-Block on Tuesday.

Regarding reforms and elections, Aminul Haque said, "You want reforms, we have also wanted reforms for a long time. The common people of this country want reforms. But that must be through a free, fair and impartial election under the people's government. Because in the name of reforms and justice, you have not been able to make any reforms in the last 10 months. You have not been able to bring the accomplices of the fallen dictatorship under the law. You have not been able to establish the desired rights of the common people of Bangladesh so far."

Commenting on the instability

prevailing among the people of Bangladesh, Aminul Haque said, Bangladesh's economic situation is fragile. Still, we were hoping that the country's economic situation would be strengthened during the interim government, as the fallen dictatorial government had weakened the economy of Bangladesh. Foreign investment would increase in a weak economy. But 10 months have passed and no investment is coming to the country yet. One of the reasons for the lack of investment is that stability has not come among the people of Bangladesh, there is instability prevailing among the people. The root of this is a free and fair election. So, if you think about it from that perspective, there is no alternative to an elected government. So, we hope that this interim government will complete the election by next December and return power to the people. This is our expectation.
