more men, women and children through

the Bholahat, Panchagarh borders of Chapainawabganj, Dhobaura and Haluaghat in Mymensingh. Among them are 12 Bengali-speaking Indian citizens. Chapainawabganj : The BSF has pushed 8 people through the Chanshikari border in Bholahat upazila of Chapainawabganj. They were pushed into Bangladesh at around 4:30 am on Tuesday. Later, 59 BGB members arrested them and brought them to the camp. Among the arrested people are four women and four men. The BGB has confirmed that they are Bangladeshi citizens. They are residents of Khulna, Thakurgaon, Rajshahi, Narayanganj, Bagerhat and Chapainawabganj districts. The BGB said that they will be handed over to Bholahat police station.

Panchagarh : BSF has again pushed 26 Bangladeshis,

including women and children, through two borders in Panchagarh. Among them are 8 men, 9 women and 9 children. Local residents and members of Nilphamari-56 BGB battalion arrested them from the border areas of Barabari of Haribhasa union and Khuniyapara of Chaklahat union in Panchagarh Sadar late on Monday night. BGB sources said that the detainees had been working in different areas of Haryana province of India for 10 to 15 years. They were staying there illegally. After interrogation, the BGB handed them over to Panchagarh Sadar police station.

Dhobaura (Mymensingh) :

The BSF pushed 12 Bengali-speaking Indian nationals through the Dhobaura border in Mymensingh on Monday night. They were pushed through the Munshipara BOP area around 1 am. All their belongings including mobile phones, ID cards, Aadhaar cards were confiscated from them. The Gujarat police arrested them on May 24. The detainees also alleged that they were beaten up several times after that. They were residents of Narail and Khulna districts of Bangladesh. In 2004, they crossed the Benapole border to India through brokers. They worked in various shops and did business in Gujarat. They also obtained Indian citizenship. The BGB arrested them.
