has declared himself the party's
'patron-in-chief'. Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan will now serve as the chairman of the embattled party. Imran will take all decisions.
Speaking to reporters outside
Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail on Tuesday, Gauhar said former Prime Minister Imran Khan himself will lead a "nationwide mass movement" from prison. Ali Amin, Omar Ayub and Salman Akram Raza have been given new responsibilities, The Dawn and The Express Tribune reported.
Barrister Gauhar said,
"All instructions regarding the movement will be conveyed through the Leader of the Opposition Omar Ayub Khan." Earlier, Imran Khan, in a message on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, had urged the people to be ready for protest programs across the country.
