Police recovered the body around 8 am on Wednesday. Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station OC Emaul Haque confirmed the matter.

He said, "It is initially

reported that Abdul Baki committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of the 10th floor. After his body was recovered, it was sent to the morgue of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College for an autopsy."

Police officer Imaul Haque said that Abdul Baki lived with his family in his own flat in the East Rajabazar area.

He said, Abdul Baki had

been ill for a long time. Family members believe that he committed suicide due to illness. However, the police are investigating the matter.

Abdul Baki's village is in Boalkhali, Rajshahi. However, police said he was permanently residing in the Rajabazar area.
